Campaign Slogan Contest!

Good campaign slogans are a lot like good linebackers. They have to be no-nonsense and strong! So that's why we're counting on the strength of our supporters to help come up with our first campaign slogan!

Best slogan wins a sweatshirt. Funniest slogan wins a t-shirt.

How to Enter: Join our Facebook group "Mike Ditka for Governor" -- look for the one with our logo -- and post your slogan underneath the "Campaign Slogan Contest" topic on our Discussion Board.

All entries must be submitted by January 9th, the week the Blagojevich impeachment hearings begin.

Winners will be announced on January 12th. Good luck!

Campaign Trail: Monday Night Football

While the Bears were busy pulling off an unbelievable victory Monday night against the Packers inside Soldier Field, there was a team of Ditka for Governor supporters who were busy winning the hearts of Bears fans outside of it as well.

George Sisson, a medical student at Northwestern University, was one of the dedicated souls who braved the sub-zero temperatures to help hand out 1,000 Ditka for Governor flyers.

At the end of the evening, George described the experience as "Life changing. This was the first time I really ever got involved in anything that was grassroots and I couldn't believe how enthusiastic so many people were when I approached them to talk about Ditka for Governor."
